The ZHAW TEF XR project, together with the DIZH IMMERSE project, has developed a hands-on workshop in which everyone who teaches at ZHAW can get to know and try out XR technologies for teaching, and develop their own use case.
The first workshop takes place on Wednesday, 11 November 2026, in Zurich, running all day from 9:00 am. The goal is to give participants a practical overview of XR technologies and their use in teaching. Alongside some fundamentals and background information, the main focus is on trying things out together in the IMMERSE Lab. A slot in the IMMERSE Theater has also been booked over lunch, allowing for a shared XR experience.
Half-day follow-up sessions take place on Thursday, 26 November 2026, and Thursday, 10 December 2026. These sessions offer room for hands-on practice as well as for questions about integrating XR into your own teaching.
Further dates will be offered in January, February, and March 2027.
